Do I have to pay sales tax?
As a company with a presence in Delaware, Johnny Brookheart is required to collect retail sales tax on all purchases shipped to customers with mailing addresses in the state of Delaware.

What is your return policy?
At Johnny Brookheart we take pride in offering our clients beautiful jewelry products and great customer service.  We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase.  However, if you are not happy with your engagement jewelry you may return it to us within 30 days  for a full refund. 

Due to the nature of the product we are unable to accept returns on any of our engagement piercing body jewelry for any reason. 

To initiate a return, simply contact us via your johnnybrookheart.com customer account.  Please note that your return must meet the following requirements before you will receive full repayment:

  1. Jewelry must not have been resized or altered by a jeweler outside the employ of Johnny Brookheart.  All engagement rings must be in unaltered and undamaged condition.
  2. Inform us of your return via your johnnybrookheart.com customer account within twenty calendar days of the receipt of your order
  3. Return your purchase to us via insured USPS Registered Mail.  This package must include all of the items that you received with your order (jewelry, jewelry box, gemstone certifications).  While we do not require you to return your purchase in its original shipping container, the packaging that you do use must be equally sturdy.  The package must be postmarked within thirty calendar days of the receipt of your order.
Once we have received your return and confirmed that the above requirements have been met, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price.  If your original payment was made via credit card, the amount will be credited back to the credit card used to make the purchase.  If your original payment was made with an electronic transfer of funds you will receive a check for the same amount.  Please allow one week for refunds to be processed.

How will my package be shipped?
Packages will alternatively be shipped via Registered Mail, UPS Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, local secured courier, or armored car.  The method of shipping will depend on value of shipment and geographic location of recipient.  We provide free insured shipping to all of our customers, and packages are sent FOB St. Louis.

Packages shipped via UPS or FedEx will always be marked “Hold at Location” for the safety and security of our customers.  You will be notified when your delivery has arrived at the local shipping office, and may be picked up your leisure.  Please bring photo identification.

Is my shipment insured?
For your security and peace of mind, all of our products come with free 100% insured shipping.  Your order will be carefully tracked by a Johnny Brookheart customer service representative while it is in transit.   If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us via your customer account.

Will your prices change?
To remain competitive, we adjust our prices to reflect changes in the diamond market weekly and changes in the precious metals markets daily.

How long will it take me to get my order?
At Johnny Brookheart, we take pride in crafting your jewelry as per your order.  While this does take time, we use overnight shipping to get your order to you as quickly as possible.  Because of this, we can get your order to you in two weeks or less.

What is the quality of your diamonds?
In short, all diamonds sold by Johnny Brookheart meet or exceed the following standards for quality, as defined by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA):

  • Clarity:  Flawless to VS2
  • Color:  D to F
  • Cut:  Ideal to Very Good
  • Polish:  Excellent to Very Good
  • Symmetry:  Excellent to Very Good

How do I know that my diamond’s qualities are as advertised?
Each gemstone larger than .40 carat sold under the Johnny Brookheart name has been confirmed for the aforementioned qualities (i.e. color, clarity, and carat weight) by our own team of licensed jewelers.  In addition, they have been certified by at least one reputable outside organization.  These include:

  • Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
  • American Gem Society (AGS)
  • Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD)

These laboratories are well respected in the diamond industry for their expert, unbiased reports.  These organizations record their findings in a highly detailed document.  You will receive all documentation pertinent to your diamond when you take delivery of your jewelry.

What is your privacy policy?
Our privacy policies are published in entirety via this website, but may be summed up as “discrete.”  We protect the purchase history of our customers, and will never release the names of customers to the news media.  We have many high profile customers and protect their privacy.

 I forgot my user name or password.
Your user name is the email address that you used when registering your account.  If you have forgotten your password, simply click the “LOGIN” icon featured on any of our product pages.  Once you are at the login page, you will see a link titled “Click here if you've forgotten your password”.  When clicked, it will show you the password hint that you gave our system when you registered your account.  If this hint does not help you to remember your password, you will be given the option to create a new one.
